Farmers in eastern Brabant allowed to draw water from ditches and streams again
Waterschap Aa en Maas has lifted a months-long ban allowing farmers and residents in eastern Brabant to extract water from ditches and streams, citing recent rainfall and increased water flow from the Meuse. While parts of the Dommel river north of Eindhoven and the drainage canal in Boxtel are also open for use, restrictions remain in other areas like Tilburg to Bergen op Zoom where groundwater levels are still too low.
