The Dutch cabinet stated that establishing strategic gas reserves is costly, rejecting immediate implementation of proposals from experts and parliament members. While acknowledging the government's responsibility for emergency supplies, ministers highlighted that options range from 117 million to over 1.5 billion euros annually.
