Rhine Water Level Drops to Historic Low Due to Drought
The Rhine river has reached a new historic low water level due to drought conditions. Measurements taken on Sunday around noon at Lobith, where the river enters the Netherlands, recorded a level of 6.10 meters. According to Rijkswaterstaat data, this is the lowest level recorded since measurements began in 1866.
