Police in The Hague are searching for one suspect after fraudsters used a 78-year-old woman’s PIN card to buy €6,800 worth of Cartier jewelry. Scammers posing as bank employees tricked the victim into transferring funds and raising her contactless payment limit before a courier collected her card, which was then used at an Amsterdam Bijenkorf store on September 28.
