Houtribdijk to Close to Heavy Trucks for Years Starting October 21
The Houtribdike between Enkhuizen and Lelystad will be closed to vehicles over 15 tons starting October 21 due to cracks found in movable bridges near Lelystad, according to Rijkswaterstaat. The closure is expected to last for years to allow for repairs, forcing transport companies to take longer detours via the Afsluitdijk or Amsterdam.
