Heavy Traffic on Highways Around Rotterdam, Accident Between Truck and Car
A collision between a truck and a car occurred around 15:30 on Friday on the A15 near Barendrecht, causing significant delays. The car driver was able to exit the vehicle and received medical attention from ambulance personnel, while the truck driver remained uninjured. Although the main lane was closed temporarily and a trauma helicopter landed on the highway, the road has since reopened. However, traffic remains heavy, with queues extending up to 23 kilometers in some directions and delays exceeding one hour for motorists traveling on the A15 and A16.
