Tractor Catches Fire and Burns Completely During Mowing
A tractor caught fire while mowing a field on Weteringweg in Waalwijk on Friday morning around 11:15. The driver escaped the vehicle after flames appeared under the hood and alerted firefighters, who deployed multiple units including foam and water trucks. Despite their efforts, the tractor owned by a local earthmoving company burned out completely, along with its rear mower attachment, though the front attachment remained largely intact. The burnt vehicle was removed by crane around 12:30, and the cause of the fire remains unknown.
