Centuries-old Aztec manuscript temporarily returns to Mexico
Mexico is temporarily receiving the Codex Azcatitla from France’s national library to celebrate 200 years of diplomatic ties. The 16th-century document details the founding of Tenochtitlan and the Spanish conquest. It will be displayed in Mexico City until December, while Mexico lends the Codex Boturini to France.
