Round Droste Chocolates Returning to Dutch Shelves
Polish confectionery producer Wawel has confirmed that round Droste chocolate pastilles will return to Dutch stores next year after acquiring the 160-year-old brand in November 2025. The chocolates, previously discontinued due to financial struggles and production halts in Vaassen, are being rebranded as "The Other Chocolate" with new flavors including milk, caramel sea salt, raspberry, and 64% dark chocolate.
