DigiD App Now Available for People Without Smartphones
Starting today, Dutch citizens can download and use the DigiD app directly on their computers, extending access to approximately one million residents who do not own smartphones. This update simplifies login procedures by eliminating the need for pairing codes or QR code scanning while maintaining security through computer-bound activation and personal PIN requirements. The app also supports assistive technologies, such as eye-tracking software.
