Russian frigate shoots light flares at Danish army helicopter
A Danish Air Force helicopter was fired upon with two light flares by a Russian frigate yesterday, according to the Danish Ministry of Defense. One flare passed dangerously close, but no injuries or damage occurred. Minister Jeppe Bruus condemned the act as serious, citing it as proof Russia is taking greater risks. The Russian ambassador has been summoned for talks.
