Ground Temperature Drops Below Zero After Warm Summer
According to Weeronline, ground frost occurred locally in the Netherlands during the night from Thursday to Friday, marking the first instance of autumn ground freezing. Temperatures dropped to 0.4 degrees below zero in Twente and reached a national low of 3.6 degrees below zero in Hoogeveen, Drenthe.
