European Night Trains Are Becoming More Luxurious, But the Netherlands Must Wait
New European night train concepts featuring private compartments and enhanced privacy are emerging at the InnoTrans fair in Berlin. While companies like Nox Mobility plan to launch services with two-person beds between Hamburg and Munich starting March 23, it remains unclear when such luxury trains will depart from Amsterdam. Currently, Dutch travelers can access similar private accommodations on Nightjet routes to Switzerland, Austria, and Germany beginning December 13.
