Warning: Heavy Traffic Expected on the Van Brienenoord Bridge
Rijkswaterstaat is conducting roadworks on the A20 between Kethelplein and Kleinpolder junctions this weekend, causing potential congestion on the diversion route via the A16. The A20 will be closed towards Gouda from Friday at 21:00 until Monday at 05:00, with several ramps also shut. Additionally, the connection to the A27 near Gorinchem is closed until Monday morning, diverting traffic via the A16. Road closures also affect the A27 at Everdingen and the Merwede Bridge in Gorinchem, where new asphalt is being laid.
