Estonia Accuses Russia of Sabotage at Drone Manufacturer Following Arson
Estonia’s security service (KAPO) has accused Russian intelligence services of orchestrating an arson attack on Milrem Robotics, a Tallinn-based drone manufacturer supplying Ukraine, describing the incident as a deliberate sabotage operation. Three suspects were arrested in Latvia and handed over to Estonia following the fire. In response, Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna summoned the deputy Russian ambassador for explanation, condemning the act as unacceptable and aimed at undermining aid to Ukraine. The Kremlin denied involvement, calling the allegations unfounded. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte praised Estonia’s stance while urging calm, noting that hybrid attacks are expected to increase.
