Fast Audi from traffic police replaced by even faster Mercedes
The Hague traffic police are gradually replacing their Audi A6 vehicles with the more powerful Mercedes-Benz E450d AMG line. Chosen for its performance, comfort, and safety features, the new vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. These SIVs will be used for crime prevention on major roads, general traffic enforcement, and handling severe accidents. This transition supports the Dutch police's goal to have at least 38.5 percent of light vehicle purchases be clean energy models since August 2021.
