EU extends sanctions against Russia at the last minute
EU ambassadors reached a last-minute agreement to extend sanctions against approximately 3,000 entities linked to Russia, averting their expiration. Russian-Uzbek billionaires Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman were removed from the list following negotiations involving France, Slovakia, Luxembourg, and Latvia.
