Pepijn's Mole Positioned Exactly Over Grave Thanks to Tattoo
Pepijn van Delden, a 28-year-old bartender from Grave, Netherlands, tattooed a map of the country around his mole so that it aligns precisely with his hometown. Inspired by rapper Gers Pardoel and dissatisfied with the appearance of his birthmark during swimming or beach visits, Van Delden created the design using an old map from around 1900, which inadvertently omitted the province of Flevoland. He jokes that Sinterklaas will now know exactly where to find him during the upcoming national parade in Grave. The tattoo also features the skyline of Grave on his arm, and he plans to keep the mole as a health gauge, stating he will see a doctor if it grows as large as the province of Brabant.
