Massive brawl erupts between 70 football supporters, police launch large-scale operation
A large fight broke out on Saturday afternoon in Eindhoven involving approximately 70 VVV-Venlo supporters and suspected PSV fans near Strijp-S station. The incident occurred when a bus carrying VVV-Venlo fans stopped in the city en route to Volendam for an Eredivisie match against FC Volendam. Police responded with nearly all available units, including a K9 unit, and detained the VVV-Venlo group for individual checks before escorting them back to Venlo. Authorities have banned the supporters from attending the upcoming match in Volendam. While no arrests have been made yet, police are investigating using CCTV footage and confirmed that no weapons were found during a subsequent search of the area.
