Jumbo recalls brie and gorgonzola due to listeria bacteria
Jumbo has recalled its brie cheese because it may contain listeria bacteria. Earlier on Wednesday, the supermarket chain had already recalled its gorgonzola for the same reason, as the bacteria could be present in the cheese. In both cases, the recall concerns products from Jumbo's own brand. The company urges customers not to consume these cheeses and to return them to the store. The recall was announced on 2026-08-26, following precautionary food safety measures.
