Lufthansa Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Lyon Due to Burning Power Bank
A Lufthansa flight traveling from Frankfurt to Lisbon made an emergency landing in Lyon on Saturday evening after a power bank caught fire near a passenger seat. Although cabin crew placed the device in a special safe, the aircraft diverted to the French city and landed at 22:00. The 198 passengers were accommodated in hotels and subsequently flown to Lisbon on Sunday via various flights.
