French Coach Zidane Sees Konaté Withdraw Due to Injury
France national team coach Zinedine Zidane must play without defender Ibrahima Konaté in Friday’s Nations League match against Turkey due to a knee injury. Konaté suffered pain during training and was diagnosed with a mild right ankle sprain after an MRI scan. He will return to Real Madrid on Thursday following consultation between club and national team doctors. Twenty-year-old Leny Yoro from Manchester United has been called up as his replacement.
