Two Limburg Police Officers Suspended for Possible Leaks
The Public Prosecution Service (OM) in Limburg has launched a criminal investigation into two police officers suspected of sharing confidential information. Both officers have been temporarily suspended. They are accused of deliberately searching police systems and passing sensitive data to individuals outside the police. According to L1 Nieuws, the officers are from the Venlo-Beesel and Brunssum-Landgraaf police teams. The OM has initiated two separate investigations. After the OM’s inquiry, a disciplinary investigation will assess whether the officers acted properly, honestly, and reliably.
