Safety Measures Implemented in Opheusden Following Thursday Riots
A state of emergency has been declared for the entire built-up area of Opheusden starting at 5:00 PM on Thursday. Mayor Jan Kottelenberg designated part of the town center as a security risk zone to prevent riots similar to those that occurred on the previous Thursday, according to the Gelderland municipality.
