Person Infected with West Nile Virus via Blood Transfusion Dies
The Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) confirmed that a person who contracted the West Nile virus through a blood transfusion has died. This brings the total number of fatalities linked to the virus to four.
