Inheritance Recipients More Likely to Move or Install Solar Panels
The Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) reports that individuals inheriting 50,000 euros or more after losing their last parent are more likely to move or invest in solar panels. Among those who inherited such amounts, 21% moved within three years, compared to 14% in a control group. These recipients often switched from apartments to detached houses and opted for solar installations rather than paying down mortgages.
