CBS: share of people receiving benefits does not increase, despite aging population
According to CBS, since the beginning of this century, the Netherlands only had a relatively lower proportion of people receiving benefits in 2007 and 2008. Despite the ongoing aging of the population, the share of people with social benefits has not increased. The data suggests that, apart from those two years, the proportion has remained stable.
