Victims of Allowance Scandal File Charges Against Officials Over Data Vault
A group of parents affected by the Dutch childcare allowance scandal filed charges on 2026-08-26 against officials from the Ministry of Finance, the Tax Authority, and the Benefits Service, alleging they concealed evidence in a so-called data vault.
