DPG Media Reaches 100,000 Students with Free News Subscription

DPG Media announced on Tuesday that 100,000 students from the Netherlands and Belgium have subscribed to its news brands via a free digital subscription launched one year ago. The initiative aims to make independent quality journalism accessible to young people aged 16 to 25. Kamilla Leupen of DPG Media described the launch as a very good start, while colleague Nicholas Lataire noted that their titles cover both essential news and stories relevant to students' own lives. Subscribers in the Netherlands gain access to publications such as Volkskrant, Trouw, Het Parool, AD, Brabants Dagblad, Tubantia, and De Stentor, while those in Belgium receive HLN/Het Laatste Nieuws, De Morgen, and HUMO.
