Kosovo Tribunal Convicts Former President, ME Protests in The Hague
The Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague sentenced former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi to 25 years in prison on Wednesday for war crimes committed in the 1990s. Thaçi stood trial alongside other former officials. Supporters caused disturbances at the Malieveld during the proceedings.
