PSV Drops to Third Place in Eredivisie After Defeat at Twente
PSV suffered its first loss of the season, falling 3-2 to FC Twente at the Grolsch Veste, which moves them down to third place in the Eredivisie standings. Both teams now hold 16 points from seven matches, trailing leaders AZ and Feyenoord. Younes Taha opened the scoring for Twente in the 14th minute, but PSV responded with two goals from Guus Til in the 26th and 29th minutes. FC Twente regained the lead in the second half through Wout Weghorst and Daouda Weidmann. Trainer Peter Bosz noted that PSV had previously only dropped points via a home draw against Fortuna Sittard.
