Rijkswaterstaat is conducting roadworks across the region, resulting in closures of several key infrastructure points. The Haringvliet Bridge (A29) will be closed for two nights, while the Merwede Bridge (A27) closes for four days to allow for asphalt replacement that extends the bridge's lifespan. Other closures include the Botlektunnel on Tuesday night, the Thomassentunnel on Wednesday night, and the Algerabrug for four nights. Repairs continue on the A16 sinkhole near Ridderkerk, and the connection from A20 to A13 remains closed until September 28. Additionally, the N3 ring road around Dordrecht is closed until April 2027, with diversions provided via parallel routes and toll-free alternatives where applicable.
