Groningen AI Supercomputer to Reduce Netherlands' Dependence on Foreign Tech
The Dutch government plans to install an AI supercomputer at the University of Groningen campus by late 2027, with operations expected to begin in 2028. This initiative aims to boost the national knowledge economy and reduce reliance on US and Chinese AI firms by enabling local organizations to develop and test artificial intelligence applications.
