Data Breach at Pharmacy Chain DA Affects 236,000 Customers
Pharmacy chain DA has warned customers of its online store about a data breach where unauthorized individuals accessed a database containing personal information in early this month. The compromised data includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, home addresses, and order details for 236,000 customers. The company notified the Dutch Data Protection Authority and advised affected customers to be vigilant against phishing. Physical store customers were not involved as their data was not in the breached webshop database.
