Canadian Company Halts Attempts to Acquire Arcadis and Withdraws Bid
Canadian firm WSP Global has withdrawn its bid to acquire Dutch advisory and engineering company Arcadis after two previous offers were rejected. WSP CEO Alexandre L’Heureux stated that constructive dialogue was necessary to proceed with the transaction, which failed to materialize. Arcadis had declined the unsolicited bids, arguing they did not reflect the company's true value.
