Snooker Player Graeme Dott Sentenced to Seven Years for Child Sexual Abuse
Scottish snooker player Graeme Dott has been sentenced to seven years in prison for sexual abuse of children. The 49-year-old former world champion committed indecent acts with a girl between 1993 and 1996 and with a boy between 2006 and 2010. Dott consistently denied the allegations, which his lawyer attributes to long-standing mental health issues. He was suspended from professional play when the charges became public last year.
