PRO Elects Former FNV Member Kitty Jong as First Party Chairman, Party Becomes EU Member of Social Democrats
Progressive Netherlands has elected former deputy chairman of the FNV trade union, Kitty Jong (60), as its first party chairman. As the only female candidate, Jong received slightly more than 50 percent of the votes from PRO members in the final round.
