Vollering and Nooijen Miss Podium as Reusser Wins World Time Trial Again
Swiss cyclist Marlen Reusser successfully defended her world time trial title in Montreal, finishing in 50 minutes and 24 seconds. Dutch riders Demi Vollering and Lieke Nooijen failed to reach the podium, placing eighth and twelfth respectively. Vollering, who had previously won silver and bronze medals, finished nearly two minutes behind Reusser. British rider Zoe Bäckstedt secured silver, just 40 seconds off the winner, while German cyclist Franziska Koch took bronze.
