UCI Awards 2034 Road Cycling World Championships to Groningen and Drenthe

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) announced on Wednesday in Montreal that the Netherlands will host the 2034 road cycling world championships, with the provinces of Groningen and Drenthe selected as the venues. This decision shifts the event from the originally bid year of 2032, which was awarded to India, to 2034. The last time the Netherlands hosted the championships was in 2012 in Limburg.
