Wibi Soerjadi Ends Concert in Tilburg Due to High Temperature
Concert pianist Wibi Soerjadi was forced to stop his performance at the Concertzaal Tilburg on Saturday evening because a technical defect caused the hall's climate system to fail, resulting in exceptionally high temperature and humidity. Citing an inability to maintain the required quality under these conditions after playing Schubert/Tausig’s Marche Militaire and Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, Soerjadi decided to halt the concert to ensure a top-tier performance for the audience. The event has been rescheduled, and Soerjadi expressed sincere apologies to attendees while thanking them for their understanding.
