Eight Reports Filed with PersVeilig After Malieveld Demonstration
The number of reports filed with PersVeilig regarding journalists assaulted during an extreme-right demonstration at The Hague’s Malieveld on Saturday has risen to eight. Initial reports included three incidents, with five additional cases reported subsequently. These new filings detail physical violence against journalists and cameramen, including being pelted with objects, pushed, and spat upon.
