Dutch Cabinet Sees No Immediate Need for Total Ban on Camera Glasses
Dutch State Secretary Claudia van Bruggen stated that the cabinet does not support a general ban on camera glasses, viewing it as an excessive measure given existing privacy regulations. While organizations can prohibit their use in house rules, the European Data Protection Board is currently researching smart glasses to inform future legal requirements.
