Control of Meal Delivery Drivers, Fatbikes, and E-steps: 214 Fines Issued
During a major traffic control near the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam last week, authorities issued 214 fines targeting meal delivery drivers, fatbike riders, and e-step users. The operation, conducted by Traffic Team, Feijenoord Basic Team, the Dutch Labour Inspection, and Immigration Police, resulted in five arrests for drugs, fencing, and outstanding sentences, as well as the seizure of six vehicles. Nine individuals received €500 fines for excessive exhaust noise due to complaints about harassment and dangerous riding behavior.
