Former Heideroosjes Bassist Convicted for Possession of Child Pornography
Fred H., the former bassist of Limburg punk band Heideroosjes, was sentenced to 18 months in prison, with one year suspended, for possessing child pornography. He must also perform 180 hours of community service. Having already spent six months in pre-trial detention, he will not return to prison. The court imposed a lighter sentence than the three years demanded by prosecutors due to H.'s diminished responsibility from a disorder. H., arrested in 2025, expressed remorse and is currently undergoing treatment.
