Primary Education Staff to Receive Free Flu Shots Starting 2027
Primary education employees will be eligible for free flu vaccinations starting with the 2027-2028 school year, according to the Health Council. The council cites a higher infection risk due to work in small spaces as the reason for this expansion of coverage. The General Education Union (AOb) welcomed the decision, noting it resulted from five years of advocacy.
