Toronto Film Festival Audience Award Goes to La Bola Negra
La Bola Negra won the People's Choice Award at the 51st edition of the Toronto International Film Festival, announced on Sunday. Directed by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, the Netflix film explores LGBTQ history through interconnected stories set in 1932, 1937, and 2017, honoring Federico García Lorca.
