Man who stabbed teenagers after New Year's party was beaten by friend group, says Public Prosecution Service
The Public Prosecution Service (OM) concluded that a 26-year-old man from Soest acted in self-defense when he stabbed two 17-year-olds during an altercation in Baarn on New Year's Eve. The OM stated the victims were part of a group of at least ten youths who violently attacked the man with punches and kicks. Although the man used a knife to ward off his attackers, resulting in serious cuts to two individuals, the prosecutor requested dismissal of charges due to justified defense. The court will rule in two weeks, while the victims' families expressed outrage and sought damages for the injuries sustained during the incident.
