Boy Who Assaulted Conductor Still Missing: Opsporing Verzocht Shares Footage
Police have released footage on the TV program Opsporing Verzocht of a young man who assaulted a conductor at Sliedrecht station in November 2025. The incident occurred on the Gorinchem to Dordrecht route after one passenger boarded without a valid ticket, which the conductor overlooked under the assumption it would be purchased online later. When the conductor checked for payment at Sliedrecht, he was attacked and suffered long-term injuries. One suspect remains at large while the other has been arrested.
