Police box in two men after scam attempt
Dutch police arrested a 28-year-old and a 34-year-old man from Lelystad on Wednesday evening in Middelharnis following an attempted phone scam. The suspects targeted an elderly man who had shared his PIN code with someone impersonating a bank employee. Officers intercepted the suspects' van as they arrived at the victim's home, and authorities are investigating whether the men were involved in additional scams.
