153 emails in one day: man continues to harass ex-partner despite prior assault conviction
A 32-year-old man from Utrecht was sentenced to a prison term equivalent to his pre-trial detention for violating a no-contact order by harassing his ex-girlfriend with threats and breaking into her home. The court also issued a care mandate requiring him to undergo clinical treatment and imposed a measure prohibiting contact with the victim for three years, under penalty of two weeks in jail for any violation.
